So, I survived my 25th birthday and I feel exactly the same except for the fact that I am currently sick. There have been many things going on with us and others that are exciting.
On my Uncle Jeremy's birthday we took him to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner and had a blast. They have very good food there and enough entertainment to keep my busy girl occupied enough so that we can eat and not have to be chasing after her. We even go Jeremy to ride on the saddle for his birthday. I would have to say that we all had a great time there and I would recommend it for anyone.
We are getting closer to our California trip for thanksgiving to see the Smemoe's. We are all very excited. I am still a little nervous about flying but I am trying not to freak myself out to much. Also they had some great news to tell us about a new member of the family that is going to be arriving in early May. Yay! I am so happy for them. I wish them the best and I want to say congrats again.
My Uncle Luke and his girlfriend Heidi have become recently engaged. I am happy for them and I would like to say congrats to them too.
Also, My Uncle Dave, Aunt Vicki, and Alex are going to be expecting another new family member in April. Congrats to them too.
So, you see there is so much going on and some exciting things. I am looking very forward to the coming of the new year this year.
So, yeah I am getting kind of depressed lately at the fact that I am going to be 25. It doesn't help that my sister keeps telling me that I am going to be a quarter of a century old and that I am getting old. I guess to most that this would be young and some say that you are only as old as you feel. Well lately I feel old because I am overly tired and overly stressed with life.
I am looking so forward for this birthday to come and go and for my life to get back on track some day. I am also looking really forward to see my Aunt Kristi and Uncle Lance and cousin Sofi in California. I always seem to laugh a lot with them and seem to relax more. Plus then Adrianna will have others to terrorize besides grandpa, our dog Jasmine and especially mommy.
The Earl household is otherwise fine. There are no new changes yet. We are so looking forward to November for the trip and are happy to announce the coming of another new baby to our family in April of my dad's older brother David.
Peace, love and happiness with all.
The Earl's
A week ago Adrianna and I were at my mom's house again helping with the garage sale. The first night that we got there we didn't get there until late so we mainly just visited for about an hour and then went to bed. In the morning Adrianna's face around her eye was kind of swollen and I couldn't figure out why. As the day progressed it got worse and she looked like a mutant baby. I took her to the doctor there that same day and they figured out that she was bit by something and that I had to give her some medicine. It turned out that it was a spider bite and I now have to take her to an allergy specialist to see if she is allergic to any other things since her father is. (She got the bite on Luke's birthday)
So, I am not looking forward for her to become a human pin cushion. I hope that she isn't highly allergic to anything.
Well that is about all that is new with us for the time being.
Well, we have been busy for most of the summer or trying to keep busy. I am sorry but I don't have any new photos at the moment but I will be sure to post some soon.
We have been staying with my mom a lot lately and helping her and my sister pack because they are all moving. My sister has gotten an apartment by herself in Buffalo and my mom and step-dad are moving up by the lake of the woods. I will miss them but it will be the hardest on Adrianna since she has gotten much closer to them lately. She also has been attempting to sell everything from their house with a garage sale and I have been helping her with that too.
Tina will still live close so at least we will have her to still see. I can't see us traveling 6 hours one way to often considering my car isn't the most reliable vehicle and I don't think that I could keep Adrianna occupied in the car for very long with out her freaking out. She constantly is on the go these days.
She went to her first fair today with her dad, her sister Alexis and Pam. They brought her to the state fair. I was sad not to go again for another year or be able to see her reaction for the first time at the fair. At the end of the day she still came home to me with all of her excitement. She tried desperately to tell me about her day in her 2 year old language.
I in the mean time and still seeking employment and trying to figure out how to pay for daycare. Something has to work out sometime and I just never keep giving up.
My dad has been working and golfing. The same that he does every year. He will be celebrating 12 or 13 years with Roadway this coming Friday. Good for him. Yay!
Well I hope everyone is doing well. Take care and her is some of our love xoxo
So, yesterday I had one of the biggest nightmares of my life happen. My car was stolen right from the front of my car and no it wasn't unlocked and the keys weren't in it. My dad came home and told me that my car was gone which I didn't believe him because he has played that joke on me one too many times. So, I went outside to look and it was gone. I came back in and asked him what he did with it and he said that he swore he did nothing. Then I started freaking out so I called the Coon Rapids police and made a report. I had to wait for an officer to call me back. He called me back shortly after and I gave him all my information and he then proceeded to tell me that there had been 5 car thefts lately in the Coon Rapids area and they were hitting foreign cars like toyota's and honda's. By then I was so sad that my car had been taken right from under my nose. I had been home with Adrianna all day because it is too hot to really do anything outside. My world was becoming a total mess and I felt very unsafe all of the sudden.
Well to my surprise I received another phone call probably only 10 minutes after I got off the phone with the Coon Rapids officer. It was the Brooklyn Park police and they had found my car. I was in utter shock. I was like wow that was really fast. They had found it at a park and ride in Brooklyn Park. I was prepared to hear the worse by that point. He said "I have never seen anything like this but your car is in perfect condition except for the ignition." Perfect condition? How could that be if they had broken in to my car? He said that they had very well known what they were doing and it probably took them a matter of 5 minutes to steal it. I was so happy. I was going to get my baby back.
We had to go and pick it up last night around 9p.m. and I was nervous to see it. When we got there everything was the same except that they had busted out my ignition, programmed all my radio stations to other ones and there was no gas and I had just filled it the night before. I was sad about that but I was happy to see my car again. I now for the time being have to start my car with a screw driver but it could be much worse and I could have no car anymore.
My dad has officially stated that I by far have the worst luck of anyone he has ever met and I have to agree with him. I swear that my life is just in a downward spiral with no sign of going up. But I do have my car back. Yay!
