As you all now by now that we have currently been living with my dad or Grandpa Tom as Adrianna says. In May, Adrianna will be finishing her preschool readiness program at Head Start and will be attending Kindergarten this fall. This will be a an new adventure for her that she has been waiting for since she first understood the word "school." For me this means I can finally begin working again since she will be in school most of the time.
We are planning on moving to Annandale in June with my boyfriend Ben and starting our lives. This is a much anticipated thing but I am scared of how little Adrianna will adjust to not having Grandpa Tom around anymore.
I hope this year brings all good luck, good health and much happiness. I will post more updates at a later date.

Christmas

There are so many things this year that I have been so grateful for and cannot seem to have enough words to thank all the wonderful people that have helped to make these things possible.
#1: My family
Without you I would not be me. You are my backbone and my strength when I am weak and think that I cannot go on anymore. You are my laughter and tears, my sadness and my hope. I could have not gotten where I am today without all of you and I thank you all so much for everything. I love you dearly!
#2: My friends
You are the people who I can let myself go with and I can relax. You always seem to be there for me when I don't think that anyone else is. I love all of you like you are my family and give thanks for having the great few friends that I do.
#3: Everyone else
To whom ever you are, I thank you for your kind words, thoughts, praise, helpfulness and genorosity. With out you the small things would have never mattered.
This year as Christmas nears I am so excited to share this day with my family and friends. We are going through some tough times this year and we will realize what Christmas is really about. Not presents, food or where you are. It is Christ's birthday and we can spend it in rejoyce with our families. I am sad that my out of state family members will no be here this year but I will hold them dear to my heart.
God bless all this holiday season!

Crazy Days

Things this summer went by so fast and I am already beginning to miss the lazy summer days just laying around and fishing. Adrianna has grown all to fast this summer and sometimes I want to cry because I miss my baby girl. She is so independent and does almost everything on her own now that I sometimes feel unneeded by her and like she is a little mom her self. She is constantly reminding me to do things and telling me what I should and shouldn't do. She is finally potty trianed and I thank God for that but now I sometimes miss her needing me. I know that this sounds strange but to all of you new mothers out there you will understand where I am coming from soon. They all seem to grow up before your eyes and then in a blink they will be grown ups with their own lives.
Going to St.Cloud Tech for school is very fun. I love all of my new classes and meeting all of the new people. It is strange how different people can look and act but when you get to know them they are more like you than you thought. Some of my classes are already challenging for me but I always have loved a challenge. Rachel Hufnagle is going to school with me too so it is fun to run into her sometimes. I love the school environment.
Adrianna is currently staying at my moms house in South Haven well I am in school and enjoying getting spoiled to death by her Nana, Auntie Tina, and Baba Brian. Soon we will be moving into an apartment in Sauk Rapids right across the bridge from the Tech so I can take a bus there and not have to drive my car around all of the time.
We are excited for the future and we are hoping that everyone else lives are going well. We hope to hear from all soon.

3 years gone in a blink

Adrianna has turned 3 years old on May 16th. We did so many fun things for her. I brought her to Coon Rapids dam, como zoo, Springbrook Nature Center and out to eat many times. My mom and me brought her to the Mall of America and she went to Libby Lu's to get all dressed up like a princess. Then later that night my mom kept her and brought her out to eat and swimming. I hope that she had fun and will somewhat remember this birthday.
I love that my little girl is growing up but at the same time I am wondering where has the time went? It seems like almost yesterday I was pregnant with a baby and just discovering the news or that I just had her and she was this tiny baby that was so sweet. Now she is 3 and definitely her own little person. She makes jokes, laughs at all funny things, has temper tantrums when she isn't getting her way, colors in the lines for the most part, can draw shapes, smiley faces and hand prints. She is so amazing and a wonderful child. She amazes me all the time with how quickly that she can learn things and the things that she understands and says.
All I can tell anyone with babies is cherish the time you have with your little ones because before you know it they are big girls and boys in a blink of an eye.

Sweet 16

There are so many things in life that you cannot stop or change and this is one of them. My Aunt Kelly's oldest daughter has finally turned 16 years old as of yesterday. I feel terribly old now. She is also taking her drivers test on Thursday morning. It is a scary idea but yet I know that she is a good driver. I am wishing her the best of luck.
We went over to my Aunt Kelly's as usual on her birthday yesterday and stayed up for the countdown. By the countdown I mean her 10:49p.m. actual birth and sang happy birthday to her. Adrianna and I brought her some flowers and a balloon. I hope that she liked them. They were just some really colorful daisies and carnations. She isn't having her party until February.
It was very fun being there but also sad somewhat. I hate the fact that we just keep growing older every day. I still can't believe that my baby is going to be 3 years old in May. Where has all the time went? I feel like she was born then it jumped ahead until now sometimes. The same thing for my cousin Jackie. I still remember her being 2 and running me over with her barbie power wheels jeep and wanting to paint my toe nails and painting my whole toe. Now she is 16 and going to be driving. Whoa! Life needs to somewhat slow down or maybe it is just me who should.

Family togetherness

There has been so many things that I need to update on. Adrianna and I finally went on our first vacation to California. It was great. I loved the weather and the ocean. It was definitely somewhere I could live myself. I loved being with my Aunt Kristi and Uncle Lance again. I have missed them so much since they have moved. It was also nice to see my Uncle Dave, Aunt Vicki and Alex. I would love to go back so California someday soon again. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving there with wonderful food. We went to Disneyland also. It was interesting there but I would like to go back there again maybe when it isn't so busy and Adrianna gets a little older.
Just recently everyone came to Minnesota for my Uncle Luke's graduation from college. I stayed home with the kids and watched them so we wouldn't have to be chasing them around at the ceremony. I rather enjoyed watching them. They were a lot of fun. Uncle Dave, Aunt Vicki, and Alex stayed with us for a week. It was nice having them here and getting to see Alex so much. It gave Adrianna someone to play with all of the time even though she was often mean to him because she is so use to being the youngest child now. Well there is going to be a wake up call for her when the 2 new babies come this spring. I often sat and talked with Vicki while my Uncle Dave kept an eye on the kids and my dad did his bird watching.
I was sad when they had to go just like I was when we left California. I have this oddness about me now that I always want to still be with family. I miss all of them all of the time and I wish that we could see them more. Maybe it is because I have finally figured out that life is short and you never know what will happen. I hope that we all can get together soon again. I miss them and I am excited to have 2 more new cousins in the family.

Catching up

So, I survived my 25th birthday and I feel exactly the same except for the fact that I am currently sick. There have been many things going on with us and others that are exciting.
On my Uncle Jeremy's birthday we took him to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner and had a blast. They have very good food there and enough entertainment to keep my busy girl occupied enough so that we can eat and not have to be chasing after her. We even go Jeremy to ride on the saddle for his birthday. I would have to say that we all had a great time there and I would recommend it for anyone.
We are getting closer to our California trip for thanksgiving to see the Smemoe's. We are all very excited. I am still a little nervous about flying but I am trying not to freak myself out to much. Also they had some great news to tell us about a new member of the family that is going to be arriving in early May. Yay! I am so happy for them. I wish them the best and I want to say congrats again.
My Uncle Luke and his girlfriend Heidi have become recently engaged. I am happy for them and I would like to say congrats to them too.
Also, My Uncle Dave, Aunt Vicki, and Alex are going to be expecting another new family member in April. Congrats to them too.
So, you see there is so much going on and some exciting things. I am looking very forward to the coming of the new year this year.

25

So, yeah I am getting kind of depressed lately at the fact that I am going to be 25. It doesn't help that my sister keeps telling me that I am going to be a quarter of a century old and that I am getting old. I guess to most that this would be young and some say that you are only as old as you feel. Well lately I feel old because I am overly tired and overly stressed with life.
I am looking so forward for this birthday to come and go and for my life to get back on track some day. I am also looking really forward to see my Aunt Kristi and Uncle Lance and cousin Sofi in California. I always seem to laugh a lot with them and seem to relax more. Plus then Adrianna will have others to terrorize besides grandpa, our dog Jasmine and especially mommy.
The Earl household is otherwise fine. There are no new changes yet. We are so looking forward to November for the trip and are happy to announce the coming of another new baby to our family in April of my dad's older brother David.
Peace, love and happiness with all.
The Earl's

SCARY

A week ago Adrianna and I were at my mom's house again helping with the garage sale. The first night that we got there we didn't get there until late so we mainly just visited for about an hour and then went to bed. In the morning Adrianna's face around her eye was kind of swollen and I couldn't figure out why. As the day progressed it got worse and she looked like a mutant baby. I took her to the doctor there that same day and they figured out that she was bit by something and that I had to give her some medicine. It turned out that it was a spider bite and I now have to take her to an allergy specialist to see if she is allergic to any other things since her father is. (She got the bite on Luke's birthday)
So, I am not looking forward for her to become a human pin cushion. I hope that she isn't highly allergic to anything.
Well that is about all that is new with us for the time being.

Keeping busy

Well, we have been busy for most of the summer or trying to keep busy. I am sorry but I don't have any new photos at the moment but I will be sure to post some soon.
We have been staying with my mom a lot lately and helping her and my sister pack because they are all moving. My sister has gotten an apartment by herself in Buffalo and my mom and step-dad are moving up by the lake of the woods. I will miss them but it will be the hardest on Adrianna since she has gotten much closer to them lately. She also has been attempting to sell everything from their house with a garage sale and I have been helping her with that too.
Tina will still live close so at least we will have her to still see. I can't see us traveling 6 hours one way to often considering my car isn't the most reliable vehicle and I don't think that I could keep Adrianna occupied in the car for very long with out her freaking out. She constantly is on the go these days.
She went to her first fair today with her dad, her sister Alexis and Pam. They brought her to the state fair. I was sad not to go again for another year or be able to see her reaction for the first time at the fair. At the end of the day she still came home to me with all of her excitement. She tried desperately to tell me about her day in her 2 year old language.
I in the mean time and still seeking employment and trying to figure out how to pay for daycare. Something has to work out sometime and I just never keep giving up.
My dad has been working and golfing. The same that he does every year. He will be celebrating 12 or 13 years with Roadway this coming Friday. Good for him. Yay!
Well I hope everyone is doing well. Take care and her is some of our love xoxo

Adrianna & the trampoline

These are just a few pictures of Adrianna having fun on the trampoline at my best friend Angie's house. My car was stolen right from the front of my car and no it wasn't unlocked and the keys weren't in it. My dad came home and told me that my car was gone which I didn't believe him because he has played that joke on me one too many times. So, I went outside to look and it was gone. I came back in and asked him what he did with it and he said that he swore he did nothing. Then I started freaking out so I called the Coon Rapids police and made a report. I had to wait for an officer to call me back. He called me back shortly after and I gave him all my information and he then proceeded to tell me that there had been 5 car thefts lately in the Coon Rapids area and they were hitting foreign cars like toyota's and honda's. By then I was so sad that my car had been taken right from under my nose. I had been home with Adrianna all day because it is too hot to really do anything outside. My world was becoming a total mess and I felt very unsafe all of the sudden.
Well to my surprise I received another phone call probably only 10 minutes after I got off the phone with the Coon Rapids officer. It was the Brooklyn Park police and they had found my car. I was in utter shock. I was like wow that was really fast. They had found it at a park and ride in Brooklyn Park. I was prepared to hear the worse by that point. He said "I have never seen anything like this but your car is in perfect condition except for the ignition." Perfect condition? How could that be if they had broken in to my car? He said that they had very well known what they were doing and it probably took them a matter of 5 minutes to steal it. I was so happy. I was going to get my baby back.
We had to go and pick it up last night around 9p.m. and I was nervous to see it. When we got there everything was the same except that they had busted out my ignition, programmed all my radio stations to other ones and there was no gas and I had just filled it the night before. I was sad about that but I was happy to see my car again. I now for the time being have to start my car with a screw driver but it could be much worse and I could have no car anymore.
My dad has officially stated that I by far have the worst luck of anyone he has ever met and I have to agree with him. I swear that my life is just in a downward spiral with no sign of going up. But I do have my car back. Yay!

My hair

So, I finally got sick of my hair being long and I cut it past my shoulders but below my chin. I like it a lot but it is taking some getting use to. Adrianna's hair is longer than mommy's hair now.
We have been keeping as busy as we can. Adrianna and I have been visiting with friends and family, going to the beach, the zoo, chuck e. cheese, play places, etc. My dad shift has changed from him leaving at 11a.m. and getting home at 9p.m. to leaving at 9a.m. and him getting home at 7p.m. It has taken us some getting use to that too. He doesn't like this shift much so hopefully another one will open up soon for him.
We are all really excited to go to California for Thanksgiving. This will be Adrianna's first vacation and my first time out of state since I was 5. I am nervous to fly but I am very excited to see everyone.
Well I hope that everyone else is doing good and enjoying the summer months. I also hope that everyone is in good health.
The picture at the top was taken the night before I cut my hair. It for some reason gets really curly when it is wet but isn't when it dries.

The Wedding

So, I was in a wedding on Saturday for my best friend Angie's brother. It was a really small wedding that they held at their home in their back yard by the lake. It was simple, sweet and cute. It was so hot out yesterday that pardon my language but I felt like I was in hell. The dresses that we wore were black but they were summer dresses. We had red, white and blue flowers. It was different but it was definitly their taste. The wedding was perfect for them. They really seemed happy to be married. They have been together for 10 years already and have 3 children and the parents kind of pushed them to get married but it seemed really nice. I hope that I never have to be in a wedding again that is outside when it is that hot out. The was the horrible part. We had fun otherwise. I will post some pictures of the wedding soon.

The get together

On saturday I was finishing up my bomb of a garage sale. My sister Tina came over to help me keep Adrianna occupied while I ran the sale in the sweltering hot. I ended up closing it up earlier because there was no buisiness and we were invited to a get together at my Aunt Kelly's house in Big Lake.
When we got there it looked like it was going to rain so I was disappointed because I thought that our barbeque and swimming in the lake would have to be cancelled. It turned out that it got sunny and we still had the barbeque and went swimming. I didn't go swimming but Adrianna sure seemed to enjoy the water. We even brought Jasmine with and she had fun too. That night we had a bon fire and sat around and talked about fun times in the past and present. We didn't even make it home until almost 1 in the morning. Also that day Adrianna only wanted Auntie Tina so it made things a little hard. Especially when we got home that night and there was no more Auntie. It was a great time and I am looking forward to doing it again soon.

Valley Fair and a tea party

So, on the 13th,which was yesterday, Adrianna and I experienced some neat new things. Adrianna spent the day with her Nana and I went to Valley Fair. Of course those aren't the new things that I am speaking of though.
Adrianna had her first real tea party with her Nana and her babies yesterday. She drank hot chocolate and ate hohos and cookies. They had this on her "my little pony" tea set(which is her favorite one). Her baby, her and Nana all dressed up in pretty clothes and sat outside at the picnic table under a beautiful red maple tree by the rose bushes. She told me that she had alot of fun and I wished that I could've shared her first tea party with her but I was having my own fun and I wanted her to have something special to do too. I have the pictures though.
I went to Valley Fair with my friends Angie, Dawn, Mitch and Mark. The whole reason we went to Valley Fair in the first place was for Dawn's 19th birthday which was yesterday. It was a hot day but there weren't that many people there because it was during the week which was nice. We spent the first part of the day riding on roller coasters and some other of the dry rides. Then we went out and grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and had cake for dessert. It was nice to beable to sit and relax for awhile. After that we hit the water park where we all had alot of fun but managed to get extremely sun burned and a regreting it a little today. I got to ride on the new roller coaster called the "Renegade" and that was alot of fun. It goes extremely fast and looks like an old roller coaster even though it just came out this year. By the time we were ready to leave we were all exhausted and I still had to go and get my little bunny girl. As I heard from everyone else we were all in bed by 10:30 last night. I am still tired today but it was fun. There is one thing that is bugging me though. Most of the rides there are very uncomfortable and only kids can be comfortable on. If you weigh over 200lbs I would not recommend going there because you won't beable to ride on the majority of rides. I did not like that fact and I almost couldn't even ride on some of the rides. I just had to get that part off of my chest. Other than that we all had a fun experience.

MOA

This is my princess. First we met my friend Matt and his son Kaden at Como Zoo but it started downpouring and raining as soon as we got there. Lucky for us we were still in the car but Matt and Kaden were stuck outside. We then met at a gas station to make different plans. Matt insisted that we go to the Mall of America but I told him that I was sorry but we would have to pass because I couldn't afford to go. He then told me that we weren't going to ruin our kids play date and that he would pay for everything and I couldn't refuse. So, I finally agreed and we went on our way. Adrianna and Kaden had never been there before so it was very exciting for them and I think a little overwhelming for a couple of 2 year olds. We visited under water world which was neat but it got boring fast for the kids. Then we took them on some rides. We didn't know that we would have to chaperone them because they were too small to ride them themselves. So, we had to squeeze our way on to these kiddie rides trying not to squish our children and to look excited. There was a roller coaster, a yellow bus that went up and down in the air, and a train. It turned out to be very fun and we only had to pay for them to go on because we were chaperoning them but I think that we had a little more fun than them. So, that was our day at the MOA but I will have to say that I proably won't bring her there again until she is 3.

Joe Hagman

On early Sunday morning at Mercy hospital one of my friends died due to a drunk driver. He was walking home around 2:30am on hwy 55 when he was struch by a 46 year old drunk driver. The driver has no injuries and now my friend is gone.
He was only 22 years old and is survived by a son and a girlfriend. I am very sad and I will miss him alot. He will always be in my heart and everyone elses that knew him. He was a great guy and was very sweet. He always went out of his way to help others. I am sad that his son will never know his father since he is only 1. I hope that his family is doing okay and I wish everyone the best with these hard times.

Yard Sale

So, we had our yard sale this weekend starting on Friday. Let me tell you that I will definitely rethink that idea again. It was long ours and not much profit or enjoyment. We had a hard time trying to keep my little 2 year old busy. She even wanted to beat up this little girl once that caused alot of drama and wasn't so much fun. We also had it at my friend Angie's house in Zimmerman so it was much harder to keep her occupied during this bad idea.
I am currently having another insane idea of having another garage sale at my house since I will have a garage to store everything and I have so much stuff left over. If you have any suggestions or ideas on how to make it easier please feel free to let me know.

May 22, 2007

Well I am new at this so you will have to excuse the plainess of our blog. I am trying this to help keep people posted on what Adrianna is doing and how we are doing.
Adrianna turned 2 on May 16th. My mom and me brought her to Como Zoo for her birthday, and she really seemed to have alot of fun. She also rode on her first carosol there and she got a stuffed pony after. We didn't have a birthday party for her this year since money is very tight. Her dad did have a party for her on the 20th with his family. She ended up having 4 birthday cakes and one is in the freezer for later use. She is very busy girl now. She loves to spend most of her days outside playing. While she is inside the house she watches movies, does puzzles, colors, tortures the dog and basically destroys the entire house.
On May 20th our dog Jasmine turned 5. She is still the same dog just a little older now. We gave her a bone and a squeaky toy for her present. She still barks alot and loves to take walks and chase squirls.
My dad is going golfing all of the time with guys from work on the weekdays and his dad on the weekend. He also has been spending some time with Luke during the weekends again.
I am still seeking employment and going a little crazy being home with Adrianna all of the time. Otherwise life is fine. We are all doing great and love you all.
